It has been a very event-filled year for Magnify Music, in many ways. We relocated from the busy streets of Los Angeles to a much more rural location in northeast Texas in the end of April, 2006. Although we were slightly "technologically challenged" for the summer and fall, we are now back in full-force and are thankful that God sustained and promoted the business of Magnify Music during the process.
February 2006 revealed the explosive release "The Black Liquid EP" on Magnify Music. Ike "Black Liquid" Ngwaba was in the spotlight on this internationally acclaimed release that quickly became a rare find in the stores and among distributors. Black Liquid also appeared on the soundtrack for "The Devil Wears Prada." Congrats to Ike for this placement.
Magnify Music was also blessed this year with more exposure through placement at the Oscars ceremony, continued exposure through DMX Music and American Airlines, and several licensing opportunities. We are very pleased to work with other like-minded labels and businesses focused on bringing soulful, jazzy, innovative music to all ears around the globe. Thanks to Dimitris Tzaninis of Prominence Recordings, who released the special European version of "Urban Excursions, Vol. 1" by DJ Rain, with class and style. Thanks also to Harley and Muscle and SoulStar Records, who released "Immanuel´s Reign" and "Inner Spiritual" on their power-packed "Deep House 3rd Chapter" mix compilation.

Magnify joins forces with Groove Gravy Records and Under My Skin Records on Friday, April 22, 2005 for a listening party to feature our new releases.
